Ideal for technical dayhiking, the streamlined Osprey Kestrel 32 is an excellent balance of weight, features and performance. A lightweight, supportive suspension enables the Kestrel 32 to comfortably carry loads of up to 30 pounds! Employing ridge molded foam and built-in air channels, the Kestrel 32’s AirScape backpanel provides flexible support and breathability to combat heat build-up between your back and the pack body. Together, a spring steel frame and a foam framesheet support weight and distribute your load. Integrated torso adjustability allows the Kestrel 32 to accommodate users of different sizes. The S/M Kestrel 32 fits torsos less than 19″ in length and the M/L size fits torsos that exceed 19″ in length. The hipbelt and harness straps are padded, covered in mesh and perforated to keep weight to a minimum. An adjustable sternum strap further aids in stability and enhances fit. Side compression straps allow you to cinch down the Kestrel 32 to keep contents safely in place and aid in load control. The storage capacity of the S/M Kestrel 32 is 1800 cubic inches and the M/L is 2000 cubic inches. The panel-loading packbag of the Kestrel 32 is accessed via a wide-opening front zipper. Stretch woven pockets on the front and sides of the Kestrel 32 offer additional organizational options and keep gear and extra layers close at hand. Large, zippered pockets on the hipbelt offer quick-and-easy access to other gear and essentials. Other features found on the Kestrel 32 include an ice axe/trekking pool loop with an accompanying tool tie-off and an integrated raincover to protect your pack from the elements. A lined, exterior compartment makes the Kestrel 32 hydration compatible and enables you to refill your hydration reservoir (sold separately) without having to access the interior of the pack. Made of durable 40D Nylon pack cloth and 210D x 330D Nylon Shadow Box fabric, the Osprey Kestrel 32 is available in your choice of color options.
